Looking for great people to partner with

OK, I will say it. I am a network marketer. Working in direct sales. What I do is not MLM. I am looking for driving, dedicated and fun people to work with. I believe in the program and products I have. What I have is not for just anybody, if you are ready, you will know.

One of my favorite books is "The Law of Attraction" by Michael J. Losier. How I feel and think is what I am going to attract. Every day I set my goals for the day. I read my goals and dreams and visualize myself already achieving them.

Improve yourself and your business will follow

The best thing I can do for my business is invest in myself. Improve myself anyway I can. Everyday I read my goals and visualize my dreams.

I listened to an awsome teleseminar a few days ago by Patrick Combs. He has an inspiring message and an easy process to follow that increased the amount of time I spend working on my goals and dreams. I don't want to take away from his message but the one thing that I love his his 'Golden Time'. This is a specific time of day where I only work on tasks toward my goals and dreams. I don't answer the phone, I shutdown IM's, turn of email notices and lock my door and put out the do not disturb sign. The tasks I have need to be able to be finished within the defined 'Golden Time'. It feels great when I can mark of each task and know that I am that much closer to achieving my goals and dreams.

The 5 principles of success

I listened to a awsome conference call today about being successful in my business. The speaker talked about 5 daily principles for success.

  1. Visualizion

I will have definate goals and visulize myself already having achieved these goals. Goals should be just out of reach. Goals should make me streach, move out of my comfort zone, even if just a little. So, everyday I will visualize myself with my goal already obtained

  2. Personal Development

Work on my self every day, read books, listen to tapes, wrtie in my journal, write in my blogs. Every day I will work on improving my self as a person. This will include mental and physical, yea I will exercise.

  3. Daily income producing activities

I will do something everyday that is for producing income, placing advertising, calling leads, following up with prospects, changing websites. Set aside a golden time every day that is only for income producing activities. During this golden time I will not be disturbed by family, friends, telephone calls (except income producing ones), neighbors, whatever, this time is for my job. This golden time will be a minimum of 1 hour, and I will set aside some everyday.

  4. Mastermind

Listen and have conversations with leaders and others wiser than me. I first read about this concept in the book "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill. In his book he talks about having a group of people that you work with and using mulple brains are more than the brains indivually. Andy Andrews in his book "The Travelers' Gift" talks about seaking for wisdom from those who have it. How the decisions I have made up to now have got me to where I am. By listening and getting wisdom for others I can make better decisions, in my work and personal life.

  5. Cultivate Expectations Of Leadership

Become a leader in my field of business. I will become qualified at the next level and then the next level. I will do what it takes so that the people I bring into this business will have an example of someone who has done it and become sucess full in our opportunity.

Persistance

I was watching the movie "Contact" and the main character, Ella, showed the perfect example of persistance when looking for funding. She did not give up. She had the desire, emotion and dream. She did not give up and she got what she wanted.

For a small business owner or person working at home that is what is needed, persistance. You will also need a plan. And then need to put that plan into action. But most of all you will need the desire and dreams to want your business be successful.

Interview with Altig International

I interviewed with Altig International today. They need managers to open new offices. It takes 3-4 months to work up to a managers position. It looks like a good company to work with. I have another interview with them tomorrow. I will get on their website and do some more investigating. They are listed on NYSE as TMK .

My yard sale did not go as well as I would like. I will use it as a learning experience.

The network marketing company I work with is having an awsome summer contest. The grand prize is a 2006 Harley Davidson Softtail . This is a great bike.

I like the company I work with. Good products, great compensation plan. But it is not for everybody. We don't sell, just give you the information and together decide if it is right for you.

My website for information is www.personalwealth4u.com.

Thats all for now.

Have a great day

What is with some companies?

I got a call today from a company that found my resume on Monstor.com. Now, my resume has network and systems administration and programming experiance all over it. This company wants me for payroll and benifits managment administration. They say I am perfect for the position. I get the feeling the are trying to recuit me for something else. I have decided to be self-employed, but should I call them back and set up and interview just to see what its about?

Pizza Delivery

Well to make daily expenses, gas, food, etc, I have taken a part-time job delivering pizzas. Its not bad and kinda of fun. But, I haven't worked a Friday or Saturday yet so I will have to hold final comments on that. Tish, my daughter, is delivering to. I get to meet a lot of people, which I like, and it helps me work on my people skills. I just have to remember NOT to pitch my home bussiness to the customers :D.

Warning Warning Shamless Plug

If you live in Lehi, Saratogo Springs, Eagle Mountain, Utah give 5 Buck Pizza a call (766-8200)

Working from home as a single dad and parent

A few years ago the company I was working for started to shutdown. They had tried to find the financian to keep going but was unable to. The is a large manufacturing company and it took a couple of years for it to complete the shutdown and liquidation process. For a year and a half I looked for another job. I was a systems/network administrator. I had a few interviews but no job offers. Then, my daughter graduated from high school. I decided that I need to make a change in my life. I decied then I was going to work for myself. I started looking for something to do at home. That was last summer, June of 2005. I have looked at many things since then. I finally lost my job at that company in February 2006. I am now self-employed. This blog will be story of how I am doing and what I am doing. So hold on, and away we go. :D
